Cockroaches are pests that often invade a home or business when a food source is available. This initial food source may simply arise from leaving dishes in the sink that have food traces, or crumbs of food that have fallen to the floor and settled in corners or under the refrigerator.
Cockroaches are destructive, often damaging fabrics, book bindings, and other materials. Also a concern when dealing with cockroaches is filth, disease, and sickness. They secrete an oily liquid that has an offensive and sickening odor that may ruin food. This odor may also be imparted to dishes that are apparently clean. Excrement in the form of pellets or an ink-like liquid also contributes to this nauseating odor.
Many people try to kill a cockroach by stepping on them. This may actually attach the cockroach eggs to your shoe, therefore making you a delivery system, potentially affecting other parts of your home, business, or any other home or business your visit.
If you see a single roach, trust us when we say there are many more present. The first thing you should do is to contact a professional roach exterminator and eradication expert at AWT Central Florida by clicking here.
